    Alexander Electric Co is seeking to hire several Electricians and Helpers with commercial and residential experience.

     

    The Electricians should have at least 3-5 years of experience.
    The individual must have the ability to read and understand blueprints, coordinate the installation of the electrical work with other trades, interpret and install project according to NEC codes, and other duties associated with the job.


    Electrician Helpers/Apprentices
    The Helper/Apprentice should have at least 2 years of experience.
    The individual must have basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools common to the electrical trade, ability to follow instructions, initiative and basic electrical knowledge.

     

    Auto CAD Draftsman
    Alexander Electric Co is seeking to hire an AUTO CAD Draftsman with minimum of two years’ experience or a Technical degree in CAD. Background in fire alarm & security is also preferred. The individual must have the ability to read and understand blueprints and coordinate the design plans of electrical and low voltage work with other trades, possess good organizational skills, and good communication skills with
    team, office staff, project managers, contractors and owners.

     

    These are full time positions, working at least 40 hours Monday - Friday. Paid on a weekly basis. Full benefits package offered, along with paid vacation. We are a drug-free workplace environment.

  • Utility Operator

    Utility Operator - The successful candidate will be able to safely operate material handling equipment: Loader, Skid Steer, and forklift; assist with plant production processes to optimize plant efficiency; clean slurry filters, nozzles, fluidizer walls, etc., to maintain product quality, production rate, and general clean work areas.

     

    Assists the QC and Maintenance departments with regard to troubleshooting equipment and processes. Responsible for plant clean-up, bagging, and shipping of finished product. Performs other related duties and/or special projects as required.

     

    Requirements include: a High School Diploma or GED; prior experience working in an industrial plant setting; ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

     

    The position involves: Work in a dusty/dirty and often hot environment (both indoors and outdoors) in temperatures in excess of 100 degress; work in confined spaces; work with chemicals.

     

    Must have ability to: Safely climb stairs and ladders and possess good hand to eye coordination.

     

    The successful candidate must also have the ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts including nights & weekends. A Safety Priority Mind-Set is a must.
